Crate Expectations terms

1. About these terms

These terms apply to Crate Expectations services sold through the WholeLottaVinyl website at www.wholelottavinyl.com. WholeLottaVinyl is owned and operated by Chris Faulkes trading as WholeLottaVinyl, Mansfield, UK. Contact: chris@wholelottavinyl.co.uk.

2. Services and prices

Crate Expectations offers: Grading at £5; Grade + Valuation at £8; Authentication at £8; the digital guide “Build a Serious Collection on £50” at £12; and full collection valuation by enquiry, quoted individually. Prices are shown before payment and may be updated for future orders. The price paid for an order is the price shown at checkout.

3. How a photo service works

You pay for the selected service through the WholeLottaVinyl checkout link. We do not ask for photos before payment. After payment, you receive a photo submission link tied to your order reference. The turnaround is stated in working days from receipt of the photo set.

If the submitted photos are not clear enough to grade or authenticate, no follow-up will be requested and no refund is due — the order is closed against the best grade that can reasonably be given from what was supplied. Re-submission is treated and priced as a new order. See Photo Guidance.

4. Grading and expert opinion

Grading follows the Goldmine standard. A grade, valuation or authentication result is an expert opinion given in good faith from the information and photographs supplied. It is not a guarantee of sale value, future value, buyer demand or a successful sale.

5. The guide

The Guide is a digital PDF download. No physical item is posted. The download link is shown on the payment confirmation page and emailed to the buyer. By confirming the purchase, you acknowledge that the right to cancel is lost once the download begins.

6. Full collection valuations

A full collection valuation starts with an enquiry. We may ask for further information before providing a quote. No fixed price or service contract exists until the scope and price have been agreed.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a Crate Expectations service is limited to the price paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
